Over 60 years ago, Abraham Hodgen started Camden Upholstery from scratch through his love for the trade and his talents. These talents and skill were passed onto his son John who owns the business today. When Abe and his wife Daisy settled in Camden East, the building which they used as a shop also housed the family. Between 1954 and 1959 stood a 400 foot tall CKWS tower in use in the back yard. When it was taken down, Abe used some of the metal as a structure for the table that the sewing machine sat on. Many years later, his buisness is still running strong out of the same building and shop owned by his son John
